Level 2
The aim of this qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge and understanding of babies and young children from birth to 7 years of age with applied knowledge in the early years, 0-5 years. The qualification content meets the Department for Education’s (DfE) Level 2 full and relevant criteria for a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner in the workforce.
Level 2
This course has been designed to provide learners with an understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children and young people in school or college environments. It covers a wide range of areas including children and young people’s development, supporting children and young people’s positive behaviour and communication
and professional relationships.
Level 3
This qualification is designed to provide a secure understanding of the knowledge and skills needed to plan and lead groups in forest school programmes and activities. Learners will develop an understanding of the principles and ethos of forest schools and gain skills of life in the outdoors.
Level 3
This qualification is designed to help learners build the knowledge and skills needed when working with children – the age range gives full focus to Early Years. The course prepares learners to work with children from birth to 5 years. Structured around the four themes of health and well-being, legislation, school-readiness and professional development, this training course will equip you with everything you need to progress in your early years career.
Level 3
This qualification provides learners with an in-depth understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children and young people in school and college environments. It covers all aspects of specialist support including planning, delivering and reviewing assessment strategies to support learning alongside the teacher; bilingual support; special needs support; and personal development and reflective practice.
Level 3
The purpose of this Level 3 Certificate is to provide the learner with the skills, knowledge and understanding in assessing, competently, the work of learners.
Level 4
This course aims to provide professional development opportunities for practitioners working in the early years’ workforce at Level 3. This qualification will embrace the wealth of experience of the Level 3 Early Years’ workforce and challenge learners in both their daily practice and theoretical understanding. Upon achievement of the qualification, learners will be equipped as an advanced practitioner.
Level 5
The aim of the Level 5 Diploma for the Early Years Senior Practitioner qualification is to support leadership and management skills in early years and the knowledge and skills relating to the early years practice. To gain this qualification, learners must achieve a total of 90 credits from all 18 mandatory units.
This course is designed to help Nannies build the knowledge and skills needed when working with children and young people from birth to 19 years within the child’s own home. The course covers the 6 key areas of the Common Core Skills and Knowledge for the children’s workforce.
Level 3, 4 and 5
These qualifications provide training for those individuals who aspire to or hold a teaching role with an extensive range of teaching or training responsibilities. Improve your knowledge of a range of topics including behaviour management, curriculum design and effective assessment.
Level 4
This qualification aims to provide professional development opportunities for practitioners working in the school and college workforce. This qualification will embrace the wealth of experience, proven knowledge and skills of the learner in a teaching and learning environment. It will challenge the learner in both daily practice and theoretical understanding.
